Bulky Item Pick Up & Illegal Dumping

Please do not dump unwanted bulky items in an alley or on a curb or sidewalk. Please contact your trash hauler and schedule a pick up for removal. See information below and help us inform and educate the El Segundo community about how to dispose of unwanted bulky items or report illegal dumping. Service provided by EDCO

You can place up to six bulky items at your curb for pickup up to four times each calendar year.

This service is FREE to all El Segundo residential customers. To schedule a pick up, please call EDCO at least two days prior to your normal weekly collection day at (310) 540-2977 to notify them that you will have bulky items for pickup. On your collection day, place the items at the curb alongside your collection carts by 7 a.m. and a separate truck will come to pick up the bulky items. Residents may take advantage of this free service up to four times each calendar year.

The free bulky-item pickup will allow you to dispose of your large and bulky items at your convenience when needed. This service is only available to residential customers.

Commercial and multi-family customers should contact their hauler about options for large and bulky item disposal.
