Recordist Yuki Shibamoto will perform classical, popular and original music in a return engagement at the El Segundo Public Library. This FREE concert will take place on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the library’s Reading Lounge on the main floor.
Yuki Shibamoto is a Los Angeles-based Japanese recorder player, who has studied with world-famous recorder player Minoru Yoshizawa for over 25 years. She has won the gold prize in the solo artist category in the Japanese Nationwide Recorder Competition three times.
Yuki creates recorder music from subjects such as art, landscapes, people and sunlight. She collaborates with artists and galleries, and makes music videos as part of her own project "MUSIC from ART." You can learn more about her by viewing her website: https://www.yukirecordersounds.com/.
