DESCRIPTION:<p>Recordist Yuki Shibamoto will perform classical, popular and original music in a return engagement at the El Segundo Public Library.&nbsp; This FREE concert will take place on Saturday, January 18<sup>th</sup>, 2025 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the library’s Reading Lounge on the main floor.</p><p>Yuki Shibamoto is a Los Angeles-based Japanese recorder player, who has studied with world-famous recorder player Minoru Yoshizawa for over 25 years.&nbsp; She has won the gold prize in the solo artist category in the Japanese Nationwide Recorder Competition three times.</p><p>Yuki creates recorder music from subjects such as art, landscapes, people and sunlight. &nbsp;She collaborates with artists and galleries, and makes music videos as part of her own project "MUSIC from ART."&nbsp; You can learn more about her by viewing her website: https://www.yukirecordersounds.com/.</p><p>The Library is located at 111 West Mariposa Avenue (at Main Street) in El Segundo.&nbsp;&nbsp; Please contact the Reference Desk at 310-524-2728 for more information about this event.</p>
