Celebrate the Sweet Tastes of Community with Lucky Diaz’s Paletero Man Storytime

The El Segundo Public Library's Dia program celebrates the strengths and sweetness of community featuring Lucky Diaz's colorful picture book Paletero Man. Library staff will read the story and then gather participants for a fun craft activity that includes creating age-appropriate popsicle crafts.

After stories and crafts, library staff will lead the participants into the park for sidewalk chalk art using popsicle-shaped chalk.

Participants will also be able to continue to explore bilingual stories with take-home book and activity kits.
