Summer reading is a fun program designed to engage all age groups in exploring new ideas, books and activities. 

How it Works

Visit the Beanstack website or mobile app (available for iOS and Android) to create an account and register for a challenge. Parents can also create accounts for their children. You can register on June 15th and start recording your reading time.

Beanstack will automatically direct you to the appropriate challenge based on your age or grade. There are three groups: youth (ages 0- 5th grade), teens (6th-12th grade) and adults(18+). You will earn badges and rewards as you progress and be entered into drawings throughout the summer. 

We encourage participants to check-out books from the El Segundo Public Library's collection or digital library.
